Your Questions Answered

We’ve pulled some of the most frequently asked questions and compiled them into one place. Should you have any other questions that we may have missed, contact us and we will do our best to help you.

1. I've had my baby, when will the baby need to be seen by you?

We typically will see the baby about 2 days or so after you've been discharged from the hospital. The team at the hospital may want the baby seen sooner, and we can accomodate that. Newborns will get same day appointments if necessary. There is always room for newborns in our schedule.

2. What is your vaccine policy?

We are a vaccinating practice. This means that we strongly believe that vaccines have and will continue to be a cornerstone to the health and well-being of our society. We will strive to keep your baby protected from all that we can prevent. We will work with parents to educate and plan the vaccines to be given. We are willing to work with each family to vaccinate in a timely manner those that are hesitant to follow the CDC vaccine schedule. If you choose to never vaccinate, then it will be best to find a practice that shares this philosophy.

3. Can I call with questions?

Absolutely!! We never want to discourage anyone from asking questions. From your first visit, to well visits, etc, we welcome questions. We want to clarify whatever we can. 1. During office hours our Triage Desk can help with questions. If it's beyond their expertise, then they will as one of the providers and we'll get back to you. 2. After hours is always staffed by one of our doctors. Call for urgent and emergent issues that need to be answered. 3. Portal messages are another way to get a hold of your provider. This should be for questions that can wait a few days for the provider to get back to you.
