Little Boy Playing Doctor

1. What are your hospital affiliations?

We are on staff at several area hospitals. We are affiliated with:

William Beaumont Hospitals, Troy and Royal Oak

Henry Ford Macomb Hospital

St. John Hospital and Medical Center and

Children's Hospital of Michigan

2. Do you see your own patients in the hospital?

We have traditionally always seen our patients at Beaumont, Troy. The other hospitals we have left the care up to the hospital staff pediatricians. During this COVID pandemic we have held off on seeing our patients at Beaumont, Troy as well for now. We do plan to get back to the hospital when the pandemic passes.

3. How soon do we need to be seen when discharged from the hospital?

We typically like to see the baby about 2 days after being discharged, or unless you're told to come in sooner for another reason.

4. Can I call if I have any questions?

Yes, please call! We welcome questions. We want to be your partner in your child's care. We want you to never be embarrassed to ask us anything. We do have an electronic record system that allows for online questions, for those things that may have come up after hours, but are not urgently needed to be answered. During office hours you can call and talk to our triage person who can help you with any concern you may have. If appropriate, we can even offer you a telemedicine visit to help answer and see your child from the comfort of your home.
